Unless otherwise noted, the scholarships shared below are not endorsed by ECSD. We are simply making seniors and their families aware of scholarship opportunities available to students. The items below is for information purposes only, and it is up to each individual student to decide whether or not to choose to apply.

Fortis Institute offers a pathway to several programs/careers. Additionally, they have scholarship information. For more information about their scholarship and their programs please call 850-475-7607. You can also access their website at the links below for additional information. Applicants are eligible for $1,000 or $2,000 in scholarships. After graduation, Fortis also provides career placement assistance for graduates.
Scholarship offerings with date-specific deadlines
Students attending PSC next year only need fill out one scholarship application to be considered for all their scholarships. The 1st Priority Deadline is March 10, and the 2nd Priority Deadline is July 3. Use the link below to apply.
Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) & McDonald's Black and Positively Golden Scholarship - Available to students attending an HBCU during the 2023-2024 school year - Deadline is March 27, 2023. Click the link below for additional information.

Better Business Bureau Foundation Scholarship is due March 31, 2023. Click the link below for additional information.
Pensacola Heritage Foundation - Open to any graduating high school student in Escambia or Santa Rosa Counties of the State of Florida, and who is planning to enter a university, college and/or technical college in the fall semester of 2023 - March 31, 2023. Click the link below for information.
Bridging Cultures Scholarship - Open to all high school students in grades 9-12 - Deadline is April 1, 2023. Click the links below for additional information.
Gwen Appelquist Difference Maker Award - For any senior student that participates in community service - The deadline is April 1, 2023. Click the link below for more information.
The Pensacola Pledge Scholarship is open to seniors attending UWF. The deadline is April 1, 2023. Click the link below for information.
The Balkhi Foundation Scholarship is a $1,000 renewable scholarship open to students majoring in education or related fields. The application is open April 1st through April 15th, 2023. Use the link below for the application information.
Ladarius Clardy Foundation Scholarship - Open to all high school seniors - Application deadline is April 9, 2022
Pensacola Interstate Fair - Available to students who have completed 10 hours of community service at the fair or participated in the fair through an exhibit. Deadline is April 10, 2023. Click the links below for additional information and application.
The Aylstock, Witkin, Kreis & Overholtz Justice Foundation will be giving away ten “Justice Scholarships” valued at a minimum of $5,000 to high school seniors in Escambia and Santa Rosa County, Florida. The application is open to ALL seniors from public and private high schools in both counties.

Kappa Alpha Psi Alumni Scholarship is open to minority male students. The deadline is May 1, 2023. Click the link below for information and the application.
The American Muslim Alliance of Florida Scholarship is Open to seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who will pursue a college education. The deadline is May 8, 2023 and information pertaining to the scholarship is found in the link below.
FAMU National Alumni Association Scholarship - Open to incoming freshmen at FAMU - Deadline for application is May 15, 4 PM Central Time. Additional information can be found through the link below.
